Carl Marshall-Davies

CEO & Fund Manager

Carl has studied and worked in finance his whole career, after his first years as an officer in the Royal Norwegian Navy. He has a BSc from Warwick Business School and an MSc from Cass Business School in England. He has studied derivatives for 30 years, and has worked with all aspects of derivatives structuring and sales in investment banking for 10 years. He was first at Credit Suisse Financial Products as a Compliance Analyst, then for BNP Paribas, where he started trading derivatives, which he continued when he went on to start up MD Investment Management.


John McKinley

COO & Company Secretary

John is a Solicitor, England & Wales. He has over two decades’ experience at board-level as a non-executive director, executive chairman and CEO specialising in building companies and organisations for UK and overseas Governments, public private partnership funding and private sector public and private companies. John’s career foundations are as Barrister, marine shipping insurance fund, Solicitor specialising in corporate, commercial and insurance law. 


He specialises in building and managing operational structures requiring stakeholder protection, including boards, statutory and sector regulatory compliance, transparent governance and reporting across diverse stake-holders, risk and cyber security protection and implementing effective board and management controls and performance indicators. 


D. Barrie Graham

CEO of MD Investment Management (Ireland)

Barrie is a career banker and financier, having worked in senior wealth management roles in major banks before establishing his own regulated entity and consultancy. Barrie and his associates work with some of the largest international family offices and private banking names to deliver structured funding and investment solutions. 


Sophie Bowden

Head of Marketing

Sophie has spent her career working in marketing for several FTSE 100 companies across the Financial, Pharmaceutical and FMCG industries. She has led teams across all forms of marketing, both above and below the line. Sophie has worked on a diverse range of projects; from brand strategy through to campaign delivery, co-ordinating agencies and managing large budgets. She has experience across both B2B and B2C campaigns, aimed at customers and investors across the world.
