FOR FUNDS

The future for funds is making investment easier and cheaper.

Firstly, it is important to emphasise that this has nothing to do with crypto currencies.

The Securities and Exchange Commission in the US has approved a fund that uses blockchain to process transactions and record share ownership. We want to do the same in UK/Europe. The returns for the funds will be the same, it's just the settlement of share ownership in the fund that will change.

This is new technology, but can significantly reduce the costs associated with buying or selling shares in a traditional fund. We want to use Amazon Web Services to create a Managed Blockchain network. This can reduce the time and cost of cross-boundary asset transfers, and enable members of the network to directly send payments to other members in a trusted way.

Normally investment in funds are recorded on spreadsheets and stored in the cloud. With blockchain, all investors (or nodes) will have a secure recording of transactions and changes to  the ownership in the fund.
